Rainy Day Plans in Raleigh, NC

When we were getting ready to visit the Learning Express in Raleigh, North Carolina, we were excited to see what the area had in store for us. Every Thursday night during the summer, the shopping area where Learning Express is located, plays host to the Annual Midtown Beach Music Series. We pulled up to the store excited to be able to listen to live music as we show kids how to play with Perplexus.
Bishop, his Dad....and Perplexus
The store could not have been more wonderful or better prepared for our visit. We had a tent, signage, cold water for our guests and an awesome staff on hand to help us out. We were able to do a Perplexus Challenge and give away a Perplexus Original before the rain appeared. This brought up a great point about how versatile Perplexus is. Even though we had a tent, rain managed to get into it and left me and Grace soaked. Luckily, Perplexus was fine because it is Waterproof! It was nice to have one less thing to worry about as we planned moving our stand inside of the store.
Inside the store we met Bishop. Bishop learned about Perplexus on the day that we visited Learning Express, and he soon became a fast Perplexus fan. His joy was infectious and inspired us to hold another Perplexus Challenge. Bishop’s father was his and his sister’s biggest cheerleader, which was really nice to see. Nothing makes us happier than when a kid is excited to win a Perplexus!
We are loving our time in beautiful North Carolina!
