D.C. is a personal favorite of mine. The best thing about being a Perplexus Brand Ambassador this summer is that our travels bring us to locations where we have friends and family around. In D.C, I was able to spend time with my brother, who lives there, and my parents who were in town visiting. It was so nice to see them, especially because the weekend fell on my brothers birthday and Fathers Day. I bet you can guess what I got them for presents…that’s right, Perplexus! What’s great about Perplexus is that the toy really is for all ages and can be challenging for all. They loved it!

Families enjoying Perplexus!

Speaking of Fathers Day, we had the joy of spending the day outside at Barston’s Child Play in D.C. where we met with families who browsed through the toy store on the special occasion. This was also the location where we met Jackson. Jackson had more Perplexus Love than anyone that we have ever met before, and he knew so much about it, that Grace and I were afraid we might be out of a job! Jackson followed our blog and saw that we were going to be in his area, so his Dad surprised him by driving an hour and a half so that Jackson could experience the SuperPlexus. Now, that’s a good father!

Jackson and his Dad

It was Grace’s first time in the city, so I had to show her around town. We walked along the monuments and could have sworn we saw Marine One landing on the White House Lawn. Barston’s Child’s Play was the best introduction into the city that she could have asked for, because of the welcoming and amazing people that we met. What’s the best travel tip that we have picked up along the way? To go where the locals go (like locally owned toy stores) to get the true feelings of the area.

Now onto hot North Carolina!
